MANUFACTURING MICROWAVE ELEMENTS FOR A TWO-SECTION 8-MEV APPLIED-PURPOSES LINEAR ELECTRON ACCELERATOR

Abstract

The work describes the activities carried out in the process of manufacturing a two-section accelerating structure for the project of an applied-purposes linear accelerator of electrons. The theoretical dependences of the electrodynamic characteristics on the geometric parameters of the microwave elements are obtained. The values of these characteristics for the manufactured structure are measured.
