Abstract
We develop specialized scintillators based on domestically produced phosphors immersed in an optically transparent silicone compound. Dispersed scintillators of this class can be optimized for recording different types of particles. Methods of Monte Carlo simulation of dispersed silicone scintillators are presented, along with their experimentally measured response to atmospheric muons, fast neutrons, and gamma rays.
