Abstract

Events of the α-fragmentation of the 12C and 16O nuclei in nuclear track emulsion in inelastic interactions with 7 GeV/c positively charged hadrons has been studied in the 4φ geometry. The accumulated event statistics has allowed us to estimate the cross section for the 12C(hh')3α and 16O(hh')4α fragmentation reactions induced by a hadron beam.
